The “Jane Trider” aWhich? "Best Buy", is a all terrain pushchair which means it is built to easily adapt to go both off road and round your local shops with ease. It comes complete with a decent changing bag and pushchair rain-cover. The Jane Trider is different because unlike its “all terrain” competitors not only is it stylish but it is very easy to operate. In our view Trider is probably the best all terrain / off road pushchair on the market today! Included with your Trider stroller and Matrix Light 2 Car seat is a changing bag & Trider rain cover. You may also feel you may want a raincover for Matrix Light 2 which is available as an accessory.
The Trider stroller has a highly compact fold and at the click of two buttons can convert to a number of different styles of travel systems. It is worth noting that when placing a Jane car seat or in car carrycot on a Jane pushchair you do not need any sort of additional adaptors or fitting kits. The Jane car seats & carrycots that fit onto a Trider are:
(1) Jane Matrix Light 2 ...Is the worlds only multi position car seat / car carrycot. Secure in the car with the optional rotating ISOfix base or seat belts.
(2) Jane Koos ...probably the lightest conventional infant carrier in the market, secure in the car with the optional ISOfix base or seat belts, (call for price)
(3) Jane Transporter ...in car carrycot, secure in the car by seat belts only, (call for price).
The Jane Trider is built so baby rides higher than in a conventional pushchair enabling interaction with mum. This feature keeps your little one’s hands away from the wheels of the stroller and helps avoid car fumes and ground insects when off road. The pushchair seat will face you or the world just by the lift of two buttons and irrespective of the seats direction, the seat offers upright, semi-recline and full recline positions. The “Trider” will also fold down with the seat unit on though for ease of use it is probably better you take off the seat completely as it will literally come off in two seconds.
And here’s the clever bit Jane Trider is the only all-terrain with automatically folding wheels! This operates rather like an aircraft’s undercarriage tucking the wheels up into the pushchair chassis as it folds down.If you want an even smaller package all the ball bearing raced wheels simply clip off in seconds leaving a lightweight aluminium chassis little bigger than an overnight suitcase!
The Jane Trider also boasts an easy to operate hand brake, a lockable swivel front wheels, puncture proof high performance rubber tyres, a shopping basket, adjustable suspension with shock absorber for when off road and a multi height position handle!“Trider” is the ultimate all terrain, it’s easy to use, has lots of great features and simply oozes fashion and style. The “Jane Trider” can probably accept more carrycots and lie flat in car options than any other pushchair in the world and comes with raincover & changing bag. With a range of great accessories from luxurious Nest Plus foot muffs to the Surfer ride on board. Click the link to view a video demonstration of the Jane Trider.http://youtu.be/MjClAeaXut0
The Jane Matrix Light 2:
The Jane Matrix Light is a multi-positional car seat meaning... it can change shapefrom a car carrycot to a car seat. In addition, Matrix has two additional lie back positions for use when attached to your Epic.
Because of SIDS concerns the latest medical advice from Professor Peter Fleming OBE is for conventional infant carriers and newborn baby car seats is to limit journeys to no longer than 30 minutes in the first few weeks/months of life.
For further details on the benefits of new-born’s lying flat please click HERE and go to our Car Seat Breathing Website.
The Jane Matrix Light has no time limits (subject to it being used in used in the lie flat carrycot mode). You do not have to worry about the amount of time you are travelling with baby and you have the comfort knowing baby is travelling in a healthy & safe position. You can also use Matrix Light for occasional overnight sleeping and an additional mattress is also available.
The tethering clips (so to secure in a car) are integral so cannot get lost and Matrix can also be secured using an ISOfix platform/base (see below). The one of a kind “Matrix Light 2” is suitable up to 10kg in the lie flat position and then up to 13kg in the upright position. When in the upright position Matrix Light offers the possibility of leaving baby in a rear facing position for longer as Matrix is about 5 inches in length longer than a conventional infant carrier. It is quite common for babies to stay in Matrix for 14 - 18 months after birth.
Due to Jane’s Pro-Fix system (this means you don’t have to buy any adaptors, the exception being the Bugaboo Cameleon), the Jane Matrix Light is travel system compatible with the whole range of Jane pushchairs.
An ISOfix Base for use in the car (called a Platform) is also available for Matrix Light which operates on a turntable system allowing Matrix Light to both lie flat and rear face in the car. The Platform makes using Matrix Light incredibly easy.

A note about the Jane brand: Jane are one of the world’s largest brands and are based in Barcelona Spain. They have been in existence since 1932 and are brand or sector leaders in many of the 52 countries they supply including ones like China, Russia and the USA. Jane has created many industry "firsts" such as the world’s first multi folding pushchair, the world’s first multi position infant carrier car seat and the world’s first reclining ISOfix car seat (group 2/3). Some years ago Jane also supplied the UK company "Silver Cross" with a number of pushchairs which they successfully sold in the UK. Many in the industry believe Jane have the most advanced Car Seat Crash Research Centre in the world and every Friday it is open to school parties to visit.

Changing your mind:
Unhappy with your choice of purchase? As an internet buyer you have legal rights under the UK Distance Selling Regulations and you can return your purchase (if unused) within the time frames set out in these regulations. We know that buying online can sometimes result in changing your mind and that is fine by us, we want happy customers!
However, products must be returned in original packaging, unused and in the same condition as supplied. Please contact us for a Baby2k returns number if you want to activate a return which will be, (just like returning a product to a physical shop….. time, parking, fuel etc.) at the purchasers cost.
Service issues and faults:
Baby2k are the online retail division of Baby 2000 and we have been retailing baby products for over 30 years. In that time, we have learnt which products give great service! We don’t sell any product online which we would not be happy to use our self. We only offer online, brands that we have 100% confidence in.
In the unlikely event that you incur a problem with a product we have supplied, please contact us for help, often we can resolve the issue over the phone (or by email) or simply arrange for the manufacturer to resolve the issue on a direct basis. This is often the case for our customers based outside of the UK as most major brands these days offer a global warranty which are subject to their terms & conditions as supplied with the product at time of purchase. You may be required to provide proof of purchase such as your order number or the date of purchase.
It is very rare a product needs to be returned to us but should this be the case the return must be accompanied with a Baby2k returns number. Initially the return is at the purchaser’s expense but if a manufacturing fault is found you will normally be refunded the return costs. Most manufactures will require that a faulty product is forwarded to them for inspection unless of course they are dealing with the issue on a direct basis with you. The manufacturers decision on how to resolve any fault or complaint is final.
The purchaser needs to be aware that any items being returned for inspection must be securely packaged preferably in original packaging….(we once had a customer return their car seat in a bin bag!). Baby2k.com will not accept any returns that have not been correctly packaged (or has not been authorised) and we accept no responsibility for items damaged in transit that are being returned to us from the buyer.
In the event that a problem develops which is not due to a manufacturing fault, the cost of repair and transport will be at the purchaser's expense. We reserve the right to send parts and spares to purchasers should our supplier deem this to be appropriate.
Buyers and users are expected to use products supplied strictly in line with the manufacturer's recommendations and instructions and failure to do so will result in any claims being void.
Pushchairs are of course the product which results in the most problems and you would be very surprised to learn that the most common pushchair fault is normally resolved by a quick spray of a lubricant!
