    The Kiddy Evoluna i-Size infant carrier car seat has been approved to meet the new ECE R 129 ('i-Size') safety standards and provides maximum protection ffrom birth to a young toddler up to 15 months of age (max height 83cm). The Evoluna i-Size fits on lots of different pushchairs to make a great travel system.

    The Evoluna i-Size is packed with state of the art technology to protect a child in the event of an impact, but also to protect their health and development with a near “lie flat” feature meaning no time limits

    This ultimate in child safety has been proven in independent tests. A prestigious Which? Best Buy was awarded in 2016 after the Evoluna i-Size achieved the highest ever score for a Group 0+ R129 infant carrier.

    However, the Evoluna i-Size is not just about crash test results ………it is about health as well and shares the accolade of no time limits with other lie flat seats such as the Jane Matrix Light and the Be Cool Match. Where the Kiddy model differs is that Evoluna i-Size faces rear to back whilst the other seats mentioned transverse the back seat of the car in lie flat mode for new-borns and then rear face when your child gets older.

    Research* by Bristol University has shown that using a typical infant car seat with "a more upright 40° position, along with the vibration experienced in a car, leads to significantly increased heart and respiratory rates, and decreased oxygen saturation. Simulating motion reveals a striking increase in potentially clinically significant oxygen desaturations.”

    The research study has proven that an incline of 30 degrees or less has no effect on heart or respiratory rates in the infant participants.

    Therefore, infant carriers such as the Kiddy infant carriers, which offer a sleeping position of 30 degrees or less, are clearly the healthier option for a baby as they stretch out after months curled up in the womb. This sleeping position also gives optimal support to the baby's developing spine, neck and back.

    This lie-flat position can be used in the car, on a pushchair, or on the floor next to you. For older (awake) babies, there is an upright seating position, which allows the child to sit up when awake, and watch the world go by.

    The independent crash tests done by Which?, ADAC and Stiftung Warentest have proved that both the upright and the lie-flat sleeping positions are incredibly safe. Which? concluded that “the crash-test dummy readings were a bit better in the flatter position, as less force is placed on the neck, but all results indicate a low risk of injury.” 

    Your baby will be able to comfortably stretch out rear facing until they reach the mandatory 15 months of age, without the requirement to purchase an additional rear facing seat, as is necessary with some competitor’s infant carriers. Why buy two seats, when just one will do?

    The Evoluna i-Size is also a comfortable seat for a little one. The deeply padded inlay and head support will cradle your infant in the correct travelling position. The three-point harness has 5 shoulder height positions to ensure a perfect fit, whilst padded shoulder and crotch pads add comfort.

    The breathable slatted base allows good air flow around the child, so that they stay warm in winter, but cool in summer. The large sun hood protects your child from the sun and wind, whilst your baby nestles inside the protective double walled shell, with its enhanced side impact protection, and its memory foam energy absorbing head support.     ALL ORDERS:.... Medium & large sized items are normally sent out via DPD for next working day delivery and smaller items sent out are sent via Royal Mail. As a security measure, most high value items (normally over £350) are dispatched on a pre-agreed delivery date basis also using DPD and we will contact you to arrange this. 

    We ship to the UK, IrelandFrance, The Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg, Austria, Denmark, Italy, Finland, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, together with other countries on request. Costs are shown in the dropdown boxes and if no cost is shown we will deliver to all the above countries for FREE. We regret that a few of our suppliers will not allow us to ship outside of the UK.     UK ONLY, (DPD TRACKING):.... Subject to you supplying an e mail address and mobile phone number at time of order you can normally track your parcel.  DPD will email or text you a delivery slot and you can watch the progress of the delivery driver as he heads towards you on the DPD website. Eventually, your allocated one hour time slot for your delivery reduces to a 15-minute delivery slot as the driver approaches your address.

    DELIVERY COSTS ENGLAND, WALES & SCOTLAND: ....A small delivery charge is made on most products with a cost up to £37.99 with FREE delivery on most products thereafter. Full details are on each product page.

    DELIVERY COSTS & TIMES SOUTHERN & NORTHERN IRELAND & UK ISLANDS INCLUDING JERSEY & GUERNSEY:.... When ordering, please select from the list in the dropdown box. This will accurately display your shipping costs. Failure to do so may result in a longer wait for your order, as we will need to contact you. Very small items sent via Royal Mail will not normally incur an extra cost subject to delivery being inside the UK borders. For larger items (sent via DPD) delivery to these areas will take about 3 days longer than mainland UK. 

    DELIVERY COSTS & TIMES MAINLAND EUROPE: ....Any delivery costs to mainland Europe is shown on the product page via the dropdown box. Delivery will normally take between 4 -16 days.  For tracking details, please contact us. Product costs are normally lower in the UK than in mainland Europe because we have lower running costs and work on lower profit margins. The exchange rate (due to Brexit) is also of help. We only sell in £'s but conversion to your local currency is very easy in particular if you use PayPal as your payment option. 



    Changing your mind:

    Unhappy with your choice of purchase?  As an internet buyer you have legal rights under the UK Distance Selling Regulations and you can return your purchase (if unused) within the time frames set out in these regulations. We know that buying online can sometimes result in changing your mind and that is fine by us, we want happy customers!

    However, products must be returned in original packaging, unused and in the same condition as supplied. Please contact us for a Baby2k returns number if you want to activate a return which will be, (just like returning a product to a physical shop….. time, parking, fuel etc.) at the purchasers cost.


    Service issues and faults:

    Baby2k are the online retail division of Baby 2000 and we have been retailing baby products for over 30 years. In that time, we have learnt which products give great service!  We don’t sell any product online which we would not be happy to use our self. We only offer online, brands that we have 100% confidence in.

    In the unlikely event that you incur a problem with a product we have supplied, please contact us for help, often we can resolve the issue over the phone (or by email) or simply arrange for the manufacturer to resolve the issue on a direct basis. This is often the case for our customers based outside of the UK as most major brands these days offer a global warranty which are subject to their terms & conditions as supplied with the product at time of purchase.  You may be required to provide proof of purchase such as your order number or the date of purchase.

    It is very rare a product needs to be returned to us but should this be the case the return must be accompanied with a Baby2k returns number. Initially the return is at the purchaser’s expense but if a manufacturing fault is found you will normally be refunded the return costs. Most manufactures will require that a faulty product is forwarded to them for inspection unless of course they are dealing with the issue on a direct basis with you.  The manufacturers decision on how to resolve any fault or complaint is final.

    The purchaser needs to be aware that any items being returned for inspection must be securely packaged preferably in original packaging….(we once had a customer return their car seat in a bin bag!).  Baby2k.com will not accept any returns that have not been correctly packaged (or has not been authorised) and we accept no responsibility for items damaged in transit that are being returned to us from the buyer.

    In the event that a problem develops which is not due to a manufacturing fault, the cost of repair and transport will be at the purchaser's expense. We reserve the right to send parts and spares to purchasers should our supplier deem this to be appropriate.

    Buyers and users are expected to use products supplied strictly in line with the manufacturer's recommendations and instructions and failure to do so will result in any claims being void.

    Pushchairs are of course the product which results in the most problems and you would be very surprised to learn that the most common pushchair fault is normally resolved by a quick spray of a lubricant!
