The Jane Rider is an all singing, all dancing stroller and a Which? Best Buy pushchair.

Since its launch a few years ago the "Jane Rider" has earned superb consumer reviews and is a true “all rounder”
The way Rider folds... to be exact it folds about 20% smaller than any other pushchair in its class and this is achieved by an amazing design which tucks the rear wheels under the main pushchair chassis (like that of an aircraft’s landing wheel system). It’s difficult to equate it in words, but by removing the seat, what starts as a normal size pushchair ends up as a dinky little bundle of modern oval aluminium tubes, which is lightweight to boot!

Unlike so many other pushchairs you do not have to remove the seat on the Jane Rider when you fold it down, though it is so easy to do so we would certainly suggest you do so. The seat is big enough to satisfy any growing child, again something which some other manufacturers seem to have problems coping with.

Even more unusually Rider can be folded and unfolded using just one hand and the brake can also be applied using one hand, as opposed to a lever tucked close to the rear wheels which you can’t get to.

Both the rear wheels on the "Jane Rider" (which are ball bearing raced) are quick release and the smaller front wheels can be easily locked so to aid use over rough ground.

The handle is adjustable, seat reversible & multi position and if dad (or mum) is on the tall side don’t worry, it is pretty much impossible to kick the rear axle when pushing, thanks to its arched frame at the rear. The Jane Rider is at the time of writing just about the easiest to use pushchair to use and is highly recommended not just by us, but by pretty much everyone who really knows about pushchairs better still, the Jane Rider can accept the entire range of Jane car seats, multi position car seats and in car carrycots making it ideal for all parent’s needs.

     JANE STRATA CAR SEAT:

The Jane Strata is perhaps the type of product you would most expect on a travel system.......... a rear facing infant carrier car seat and Jane do not disappoint as Strata easily fits on to all Jane pushchairs. Like most infant carriers, Strata is suitable for babies from newborn until they achieve the weight of 13kg, which is about 28 pounds.
As a rough guide your baby will probably reach this weight at about one year to fifteen months of age. Strata can literally, with one hand, drop onto the chassis of a compatible Jane pushchair and it will automatically lock into place.

Strata fixes into the car really easily, has great crash test results.
Strata also has the great advantage over many other infant carriers that its handle is so strong that it can be positioned rear facing and help the carrier from anti rotating in rear end collisions. To do this, fully pull and hold the trigger located on the handle and then move the handle so that the orange markings line up.

ALL ORDERS:.... Medium & large sized items are normally sent out via DPD for next working day delivery and smaller items sent out are sent via Royal Mail. As a security measure, most high value items (normally over £350) are dispatched on a pre-agreed delivery date basis also using DPD and we will contact you to arrange this.

We ship to the UK, IrelandFrance, The Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg, Austria, Denmark, Italy, Finland, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, together with other countries on request. Full details are shown on each product page.

Eventually, your allocated one hour time slot for your delivery reduces to a 15-minute delivery slot as the driver approaches your address.

DELIVERY COSTS & TIMES MAINLAND EUROPE: ....Any delivery costs to mainland Europe is shown on the product page via the dropdown box. Delivery will normally take between 4 -16 days.  For tracking details, please contact us. Product costs are normally lower in the UK than in mainland Europe because we have lower running costs and work on lower profit margins. The exchange rate (due to Brexit) is also of help. We only sell in £'s but conversion to your local currency is very easy in particular if you use PayPal as your payment option.

    Changing your mind:

Unhappy with your choice of purchase?  As an internet buyer you have legal rights under the UK Distance Selling Regulations and you can return your purchase (if unused) within the time frames set out in these regulations. We know that buying online can sometimes result in changing your mind and that is fine by us, we want happy customers!

However, products must be returned in original packaging, unused and in the same condition as supplied. Please contact us for a Baby2k returns number if you want to activate a return which will be, (just like returning a product to a physical shop….. time, parking, fuel etc.) at the purchasers cost.

    Service issues and faults:

Baby2k are the online retail division of Baby 2000 and we have been retailing baby products for over 30 years. In that time, we have learnt which products give great service!  We don’t sell any product online which we would not be happy to use our self. We only offer online, brands that we have 100% confidence in.

In the unlikely event that you incur a problem with a product we have supplied, please contact us for help, often we can resolve the issue over the phone (or by email) or simply arrange for the manufacturer to resolve the issue on a direct basis. This is often the case for our customers based outside of the UK as most major brands these days offer a global warranty which are subject to their terms & conditions as supplied with the product at time of purchase.  You may be required to provide proof of purchase such as your order number or the date of purchase.

It is very rare a product needs to be returned to us but should this be the case the return must be accompanied with a Baby2k returns number. Initially the return is at the purchaser’s expense but if a manufacturing fault is found you will normally be refunded the return costs. Most manufactures will require that a faulty product is forwarded to them for inspection unless of course they are dealing with the issue on a direct basis with you.  The manufacturers decision on how to resolve any fault or complaint is final.

The purchaser needs to be aware that any items being returned for inspection must be securely packaged preferably in original packaging….(we once had a customer return their car seat in a bin bag!).  Baby2k.com will not accept any returns that have not been correctly packaged (or has not been authorised) and we accept no responsibility for items damaged in transit that are being returned to us from the buyer.

In the event that a problem develops which is not due to a manufacturing fault, the cost of repair and transport will be at the purchaser's expense. We reserve the right to send parts and spares to purchasers should our supplier deem this to be appropriate.

Buyers and users are expected to use products supplied strictly in line with the manufacturer's recommendations and instructions and failure to do so will result in any claims being void.

Pushchairs are of course the product which results in the most problems and you would be very surprised to learn that the most common pushchair fault is normally resolved by a quick spray of a lubricant!
